Creative writing for wellbeing can help you boost your resilience and confidence, and gain insight and perspective, through a range of creative exercises in a welcoming, inclusive, supportive and respectful environment. You don't need any prior writing experience - whatever you choose to write, is the right thing for you. Just come along with writing materials (for example, pen and notebook) and a willingness to explore, share and write in a group. We use a diverse range of exercises, writings, images and objects to encourage and support your explorations.
The session will be facilitated by Karen O'Brien, an experienced writer, journalist, counsellor and workshop facilitator.
