Who are our supporters?

North Harrow Library is a Community Library, which means we are responsible for organising our own funding. We are supported by our local community, including the following:

Morrisons kindly provided us with food vouchers which have supported our various events.

Waitrose Harrow Weald have chosen us as one of their charities for their Community Matters scheme for February. The more tokens shoppers place in our box, the bigger the donation from Waitrose.

Tesco provided us with free drinks for our opening party. They have also chosen our Library for their Bags of Help Scheme for March, which means that shoppers can chose our Library with their blue tokens and Tesco will use money raised from carrier bag sales to help fund us.

Echo Systems

Provided our security system.

Redferns Solicitors

Have been our legal advisors on our journey to establishing this community Library and support us still on all matters legal

John Lyon’s Charity

John Lyon’s Charity have very generously given us a £4000 grant for art workshops. Fulfilling the needs of our community is part of our mission statement and we are very grateful to the John Lyon’s Charity for helping us with it.

Red Cup Cafe

Have consistently been by our side, providing their delicious food for our events and parties, for free. Their support cannot be underestimated, and we are so grateful to them.

The Lion's Club - Golders Green

Have donated more than 400 books to our Library. We are also grateful that we have been chosen as the President’s charity for the year

National Lottery Fund

Their £10,000 grant meant we could open the Library for longer and serve our community’s needs better.

Vaughn Primary School

Made us their chosen charity for the year and raised over £500 for us through carol singing

Voluntary Action Harrow

Have provided us with support and advice from the very beginning.
