How to get here
By street
The Library is located on A404 Pinner Road and nearby to Imperial Drive. Pelican crossing is available at the intersection of these roads. A “Legible London sign” is located just outside North Harrow tube station to assist with wayfinding.
By car
Driving away from Harrow centre, follow the A404 towards Pinner. Driving away from Rayners Lane, proceed along Imperial Drive, past North Harrow tube station and turn right onto the A404 Pinner Road towards Harrow.
By bike
Bicycle lanes exist along Imperial Drive and the A404 Pinner Road. There are two bicycle parking racks available to the public located just outside the Library. Additional bicycle parking racks are located outside North Harrow tube station. Map of the local cycle network (opens a pdf document).
By bus
The Library is served by three bus routes, the 183 and two circular routes, H9/ H10 and H18/ H19, all of which are operated by Transport for London. For the 183 or H18/ H19, alight at Durham Road (stop NJ) or Station Road (stop NC). For the H9/ H10, alight at North Harrow Station (stop NK or stop NA).
By tube
The Library is a two minute walk from North Harrow tube station in fare zone 5, which is served by the Metropolitan Line and operated by Transport for London.
By rail
The nearest rail station is Harrow-on-the-Hill station in fare zone 5. It is located about ~1.1 miles from the Library and is served by trains operated by Chiltern Railways.
Accessibility
Step-free access to the Library is available via a paved ramp with hand rails. An automatic door is in use at the entrance to the Library.
