After years of campaigning and hard work, North Harrow Community Library finally opened its doors in September 2018. This momentous occasion was celebrated with singing, food and laughter – surely a good indicator of what is to come for our wonderful library!
In November, the Library was officially opened by the Mayor. The choir from St John Fisher School sang beautifully for us and the Library was packed with volunteers, patrons and well-wishers.
The opening and running of our community library would not have been possible without the support of our community. As we look forward to the uncertain journey we are on to run a library with no government support, we take great comfort in the knowledge that the community that we have pledged to serve is by our side.
