Madame Mayor Councillor Janet Mote visited the library earlier on Tuesday this week to meet our users and to thank the volunteers for the wonderful work they do to keep our library open. She also sat in on a video call with the trustees of the Community Libraries network, a national body representing volunteer run libraries across the country. The discussion was on the importance of volunteer run libraries.
Madame Mayor also accepted a large donation of Romanian Language books from My Romania Community. We thank them for the generous donation and look forward to work more closely with the Romanian community in Harrow.
