What information do I need to give?
You only need to provide your email address.
How is the newsletter delivered?
We will deliver the newsletter to the email address that you provide.
Can I get a paper copy of the newsletter?
We do not currently have plans to print out the newsletter in paper form.
Do I need to be a library member to subscribe to the newsletter?
You do not need to be a member to subscribe to the newsletter, although becoming a member is also free!
How often will you send a newsletter?
We aim to publish a newsletter about once a month.

I cannot find any newsletter emails
Please first ensure that you entered the email address correctly when subscribing. If this is the case, it may take a few moments for the confirmation email to arrive in your inbox.
Otherwise, please then check your spam folders. If the email is located there, you will then need to mark the email as “not spam” or “not junk”. To do this depends on your email provider:
- Gmail: Mark or unmark as spam in Gmail.
- Yahoo: Manage spam and mailing lists in Yahoo Mail.
- Outlook/ Hotmail: Label a message as “junk” or “not junk in Outlook.
I cannot see images in the email
Your email provider may prevent images from automatically loading in emails. Instead, usually a notification to load the images will appear for each email. This is the recommended practice.
However, you can change your email settings to load images automatically, depending on your email provider:
- Gmail: Turn images on or off in Gmail.
- Yahoo: Block or unblock images in Yahoo.
- Outlook/ Hotmail: Unblock picture downloads for a single message in Outlook.
I received a newsletter but I did not subscribe?
When completing your library membership form, if you gave consent to both receive emails and receive fundraising material, we added you automatically as a newsletter subscriber.
If this was done erroneously by us or you have changed your mind, you may opt-out of receiving newsletters by altering your preferences in the most recent newsletter email. Please see the FAQ below for further details.
If you wish to additionally alter your preferences to stop receiving all other future promotional material, by email or text, please contact the Library at northharrowlibrary@gmail.com.
How do I unsubscribe?
If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you may opt-out by:
- Logging into your email account, checking the latest newsletter email and updating your preferences within the email.
- Contacting us at northharrowlibrary@gmail.com.
